Ellen has been employed at Vista Grande for twenty four years.   She is a woman with a gigantic heart who exemplifies Christ as she is always looking for ways to serve others. Ellen is highly skilled in church administration and is the "glue" that holds many things together at VGC.  Ellen and her husband Larry attend Calvary United Methodist Church.  They own and operate their own home improvement business.  They have six children and are blessed with twelve grandchildren. 

Ellen has been deeply devoted to Vista Grande and has always given far beyond her job description. She is passionate about outreach, helping people in need, and her hobbies are golf, reading and grand kids.  Vista Grande is truly blessed to have a faithful person of excellence on staff like Ellen Hanawalt!
